Wealth Toolbox

I have just joined a new share scheme called Wealth Toolbox. I am not really sure how useful it will be but I decided that it was worth a go. All you have to do is go to the site and put in your email address. You get an email back where you need to click a link to confirm your email address and your account is opened. Your account is automatically deposited with $50 which is invested on the stock exchange for you. For every referral you get another $50 is deposited for you. In 24 months time you can draw the money out. I have a feeling that once a lot of people have signed up they will ask for you to invest additional money to keep the accounts open. However, as it is free at the moment I figured I would give it a go. If you are interested in joining up please use my referral by clicking here, thank you.

That's pretty interesting. I will have to give it a try. As you know, we are trying to get out of debt, so every little bit helps. :)

Hmm. It looks a bit suspect to me, especially the bits in their T&C's stating:

"GeoPoint, in its sole discretion, has the right to suspend or terminate your account..."

"GeoPoint reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice."

Call me cynical, I don't hold out much hope of ever seeing the 50 bucks but I've signed up anyway, while they're only asking for an email address :) Hope you got the referral fee, Rachel.
