Website Review : Balanced Scorecard Software

Balanced Scorecard designer is a website being used to sell Balanced Scorecard Designer software. The website has all the things you would expect from a site selling software, a support section, a download section, and a section with testamonials. You could view screen shots of the software which is a very useful feature. The 30 day evaluation feature is also very good, meaning that you can decide if the software is something that you would use before you pay for it. The site looks professional and is not too text heavy which makes it both easy on the eye and not too daunting.

The site did assume that I knew what balanced scorecard was which I did not. This was pretty off putting as I could benefit from this in my business but as I do not know what it is then I have no idea whether the software would help me. As a potential customer this would automatically make me want to close the website. I did later find links to articles about balanced scored and Implementing Balanced Scorecard as well as information about the Balanced Scorecard framework and the whole system of Balanced Scorecard Management.

Another small critism of the site were the small tabs. I assumed that the words were buttons but in fact only the word itself was the link and I found that meant that I had to be extremely precise is where I clicked my cursor in order to get the link to work. I think the difficulty I was having was perhaps caused by the text being small.

As a potantial buyer I would also find it tricky to know where I went to pay for the software. Having browsed the site in order to write this review I did notice that in the download section you had the option to download the evaluation copy and I expected to be able to download the full version in this section too. However, I noticed that there is an ordering section as well. I would have thought that it may have been better to have combined these sections in order to make the whole process simpler - to have the order form on the same page as the evaluation software download - as when I went to download the evaluation software I may just change my mind and decide to buy it rather than bother having to revisit the site to buy it at a later date.

I am a member of several and I find that Pure Profile seems to be great. When you log in it will let you know whether there are any survey opportunities for you. The best thing about the site is that pay you even if you do not qualify for the survey. Most survey sites will ask you a few qualifying questions and these can be up to 1 questions and then if you do not qualify they will not pay you. It seems rather unfair as you may have done quite a bit of work to get to that stage. Even though it is not much, you will get paid by Pure Profile even if yo do not qualify.

Just to let you know that I have been paid by Adbux this morning. Adbux payments

Adbux changed their payment system in August so instead of being paid whenever you request payment (as long as you reached the $10 minimum) they now make payouts once a month. The payments were due on the 15th for earnings since the beginning of August. I have now got $32.06 oustanding and have not yet received payment. I took a look at their forum and it seems that many people have not yet paid. The admin say that they are having trouble crediting their Paypal account and that payments should be made this week.

This Months Earnings

It seems that this months earnings are going to be a lot less than normal. I think that this is probably due to the fact that I have had less opportunities to write sponsired posts for my blog both this month and last month. Comments on cashback earnings

My earnings were down a bit this week. This was because I was away over the weekend so did not spend as much time on it as normal. Quidco can earn me £0.18 a day for clicking two advertisements, Freefivers can earn me £0.02 a day for clicking one advertisement, Moneyback Madness is currently earning me about £0.23 a day for clicking about 8 advertisements and British Rewards is earning me about £0.02 a day for clicking two advertisements. However, British Rewards does have a referral scheme which pays £0.25 per referral and I have managed to get 3 referrals which is good. Freefivers and Moneyback Madness also have referral schemes but you only get paid once your referral has earned a certain amount of cashback. I have quite a few referrals on Freefivers but none on Moneyback Madness but have not been credited for any so far.

My new investment

I am ready to announce the website of the product that I am investing my £1000 in. The product is waterproof memo boards and it is my husbands invention which we have adapted. Bathroom is almost complete

I knwo I posted a while ago to say that the bathroom was now complete. Unfortuntely there are just a few small things to fix. The floor is lifting slightly in one place and the builder is back next week to fix that. We have also not yet put up our blind. We have been pondering over what type of blind to have (and even considered going back to curtains for a few seconds!). We had trouble deciding between the different types of blinds such as : faux wood blinds, roller blinds, venetian blinds etc. In the end we got a roller blond but it has been sitting in the packaging in the bedroom for a week, I hope it gets put up soon!

My first one thousand pounds

Now I have made my first £1000 profit from doubling I have been wondering what to spend it on. I have decided to invest it in my husbands business project. I am not sure at the moment exactly how much money he needs but I know that he needs parts to put together his new product. Great Cashback

My car insurance was due for renewal so I thought that rather than just renewing with my normal broker, I woudl do some searching on the Internet myself. I found a company that was over £50 cheaper which was great. I also signed up through Quidco and I earned £23.80 cashback. It did take me about an hour to search around for a good price but I saved almost £75 - pretty impressive!

Exciting book find

I don't normally discuss my book sales on this blog but I have a really exciting book for sale at the moment and I cannot contain myself!! Doubling Money

I am now very close to having £1000 in my doubling fund. I am considering making one large investment with the money. Shares look quite tempting at the moment as the prices are low, so a good time to make an investment. I do not know that much about shares but I will probably invest in an index tracker account wrapped in an ISA as that is a good tax free way to invest and the tracker, tracks the base rate so has cheaper management fees on the account. I already have an index tracker for my household savings and it is doing really well. I cannot have two accounts so I will have to invest the money in my husbands name, sounds a bit naughty but is easier than changing the household account to his name and starting a new one in my name.
