Happy Halloween

I know it is a bit late but I just wante dto say I hope that you are having a good Halloween. Sales are a bit slow so I guess that everyone is out trick or treating and having fun. i had to put a note on my door asking them not to call as I thought the boys would get frightened by the masks etc but hopefully next year, when they are 3, we will be able to have more fun and go out ourselves.

Debt

As I have posted before I really think that debt management is very important. I spent a lot of time reading about money, how to save it and how to pay off debts and I feel that I have a pretty decent knowledge of it. It makes me sad when people get into so much debt then need to get an IVA to get them out of trouble or they have to consolidate debt in order to manage the payments. I really feel that financial knowledge should be compulsary education in schools and then people would at least understand how loans and debts work and have some idea of how to keep out of debt or pay it back if necessary.

Profits!

I did my books yesterday and am thrilled to announce that I made over £700 profits this month. This isn't by best month but with the postal strikes I was worried that I would lose money. The work I have been doing on my blog has helped as I have brought in over £300 this month (I will publish these results in full tomorrow), it has been one of my better months. October is normally my best month of the year for total book sales and it wasn't the best month but I am hoping that November willl prove to be good as well so we can have a rich Christmas for a change!

Adbux

The new changes to Adbux seem to be great. My earnings have increased since they have happened and there are an increasingly large amount of offers appearing and there seem to be more ads to click as well, which is great. The website seems to be getting better and better which is great news.

Christmas Shopping

There seem to be loads of adverts on TV now for Christmas stuff and my Christmas sales are going really well but I am finding it tricky to think of ideas fo rthings that I want for Christmas. I already have some ideas of what to give other people but I find it much more tricky knowing what to ask for myself! I really must get my thinking cap on and get some ideas on paper as people are already asking me what I want.

Clixsense

Clixsense has changed its affiliate scheme. In the old scheme you got $0.10 per affiliate and $5 if they upgraded plus a percentage of their advertising spending. They are now changing the incentive if they upgrade. Instead of offering $5 for direct referrals they are offering $3 for direct referral upgrades but they are offering additional bonuses if their referrals upgrade - this applies for 5 levels of referrals.

I am not sure whether this will mean a better income for me or not. At the moment I am not making much from my referrals so hopefully this scheme will encourage more people to upgrade (especially as it only costs $10 which is a lot cheaper than many similar sites). I will have to wait and see.....

Mediadollarz

It is funny that the very first site that I joined, when I started trying to earn money online, I haven't visited for ages. the site is calles Mediadollarz and it is a paid to signup site. This means that you get paid for registering with website, most of which are free to join. I have drawn out over $133 from the site in the past and have hundreds of referrals. The reason that I haven't done anything on the iste lately is that they have had no new advertisers for months. This mean that I have signed up for all of the offers that I am interested in. However, it is still great for new members as they will not have seen the offers before and you still get $2.50 just for joining up.

Financial Knowledge

It is so important to have a well rounded knowledge of finance. I know that when left school I just about knew about bank accounts and how to draw money out and I knew a little bit about shares. I am still not sure whether buying referrals has been a good gamble on my behalf. I know that on both Adbux and Bux.to my earnings are increasing much more rapidly as a result of having referrals. However, I am not sure whether I will make my money back very quickly, if at all. It seems that people get bored after a while on this sort of site, maybe they just make on payout and stop or they don't even get that far. This means that your earnings can be pretty small. I am sure that it will pay off eventually but it just seems to be taking a very long time.

There are a lot of companies out there which will pay you to read email. I have joined up with quite a few and been paid by them too. However, I got sick of having my inbox clogged up with mail each day and they seemed to be a lot of work for little money. I got into pay to click and decided that was better. I have been paid today by Global Cash Clicks. You can earn money on their site by clicking banner ads and registering on websites. I tend to just click the banners and find they pay pretty well. Magic Loans have just launched their brand new website.The first thing that struck me about it was the bright orange colour. I thought it would be annoying but I actually got used to it very quickly and it made the headings and navigation of the website stand out and so made the whole site easier to use. It was great having a loan calculator on the ront - which tells you how much your repayments will be depending on how much you borrow and for how long. It was nice to see the budget calculator on their too - so that you could calculate how much you could afford to spend each month. Extremely useful tools which are not normally included on this sort of website. The company sell Home Equity Loans as well as consolidation and secured loans. What I liked was that there was no hard sell, as there tends to be on this sort of site. They came across as friendly and helpful and only wanting to lend you what you could afford in order to help you rather than just grabbing as much profit from you as they can. They even had their APR on the home page so you know exactly what to expect from them. It was good to see that you could either apply online or request them to call you, so that you could talk to someone if you wanted to. Overall I liked the design and approach of the site.

You may have seen my earlier post about saving money online using coupons when shopping. I still used to think that you paid more online because of the cost of the postage. However, since discovering cashback sites such as Money Back Madness, British Rewards and Free Fivers I have realised that isn't true. Adbux - changes

I think I posted a little while ago about the changes that Adbux have made to their website. Not only can you still earn for clicking on adverts (plus 100%) of what your referrals make, you can also earn by signing up to offers. These pay a lot more money and if you are an upgraded member you can earn 100% of what your referrals earn and a normal member can earn 50%. I think that this will really push up my earnings and I am hoping that it will also encourage my referrals to work harder on the site too.

Make Money Online

My blog is supposed to be about how I am turning one pound into one million and I have not posted about this for ages. I thought you might be interested to know that I now have £346.74 in my doubling fund. I was tempted to invest it all my online friends new investment project and although I am getting better at risk taking, I decided to just invest £55. I think this was partly to do with the fact that I do not have the cash at hand as I have put a large amount of cash in a savings account to pay some bills and towards Christmas. It was probably wise not to put all my eggs in one basket but I should really start thinking of a place to keep the money while I am deciding what to spend it on, such as a savings account. I will keep you posted when I have made a decision.

October Earnings so far

Well October is looking fantastic. I was worried at the beginning of the month as book sales were very slow due to the postal strike but after working hard to reach by £1300 target (which I didn't hit but got close) at the beginning of the month and trying to find ways to make extra money to make up for the lack of sales has paid off. Also since the strike ended book sales have increased which is great. October is normally my most profitable month of the year, so hopefully it will be again this year.

Jem Investments

I have had £20 invested with Jem Investments for quite a while now. This is a private investment scheme run by an Internet buddy of mine. She has offered me a more lucrative investment opportunity and as I have nearly made back the value of my investment in interest payments alone, I decided to have a go. I woudln't normally take this sort of risk, but part of the idea of my million project is to learn about risk takingw hen investing so I thought itw oudl be a good exercise for me. I have invested a further $10 into the original investment and she has promised a higher roi in return. I have also invested $100 in her new project. She is predicting paymouts of $25 a month (for each $50 invested) from December onwards. This sounded like too good an opportunity to miss and as I had some money in my doubling fund I thought it would be worth spending some of it.

Mortgages

With the recent problems with the mortgage market in the US a lot of people are predicting that there are going to be similar problems here in the UK. Adbux

Despite a few teething problems, I still think that Adbux is one of the best pay to click programs. I have just decided to get advertising the waterproof memo boards as I still have £400 left of advertising budget. I have therefore started by spending $25 on advertising on Clixsense. I have advertised on there before but did not spend much money. I thought that to really test whether it works I need to spend a significant amount. This advert should be exposed to 2500 people so it will give me a much better idea as to whether it is a good place to advertise. A Great start to Wednesday

As I will be out for the rest of the morning, taking my children to a twins group, I was concerned that I would not get much chance to earn. I have had a payment from Amazon for £230.71. I have also sold sme books on eBay worth £23.62 plus £2 from Blogsvertise. This is a total of £256.33 which is fantastic and will help to make up for some of the days when I earned nearly nothing.
