Goal Setting

Goal setting is so important and as we are coming up to the new year and people tend to make plans for the coming year I thought it might be useful to give a few tis to help you stick to your goals. Make sure that the goal is something that you personally desire and make sure that it is something that you know you can be motivated to achieve. Write down the goal and look at it daily (as often as possible really). Remember to adapt your goal if your situation or desire changes as you will not achieve something that you ar enot fully committed towards.

If you take a look on the Bux.to forum there are a lot of articles at the moment by people who have been paid thousands of pounds by them. I can believe them too as I am doing really well myself. As an upgraded member I earn a minimum of 20 cents per day (but normally more). Then my referrals earn money for me as well. I have not calculated how much I make exactly but I think it is about $20 a month and I have only 48 referrals. I am contemplating buying more to see whether I can increase my earnings significantly, but I am going to earn back the money I spent on upgrading my membership and buying referrals first (which was $59 for my upgrade and $50 on referrals). I have earned $72 so far so a few months to go yet). I woudl encourage people to join as it is a good earner and I am sure that referrals are more likely to be active as there are so many ads to click every day.

As I have surpassed last months earnings I have decided not to cash in my PTC earnings this month. I am pleased to say that I have managed to make more money so far this month than I did last month. As last month was my best month since starting the million project, I am thrilled. I have no idea what the rest of the month will bring but this is a fantastic start.

Phone Voting

With the final of Strictly Come Dancing on tomorrow lots of people will be voting by phone or text for their favourite dancers. I just cannot understand why people spend their money on such telephone calls (unless they are related to the dancers!) More Earning Needed

It just occured to me that I ned to earn more each month than I originally calculated. I have not taken into account that most of the income I receive is through Paypal and they take a fee when I receive a payment. This means that I need to aim higher in ordre to reach my monthly target, probably by a few pounds a day. Perhaps I should be aiming for £30 a day instead of £26 to be on the safe side. This means a new monthly target of a profit of £900. Last month I made £1200 so hopefully I can continue at this pace.

Money Goals

I have a goal of making £26 a day (7 days a week) in order to pay off my mortgage. I am working really hard in order to reach this target just from my work outside of my book sales. The book sales should pick up any slack but I am hoping that if I aim high without including this part of my business then I am far more likley to surpass my target and pay it off even more quickly.

Temptation

I wrapped some more presents last night and I kept thinking about how nice it woudl be to get a little extra! I really do ne dto keep my hands in my pockets this week. Even when it comes to food shopping as there are some things that I would like to get but I am already putting on weight and there is still nearly a week to go!

Well I am still very pleased with my decision to invest in shares to pay off my mortgage more quickly. The market is falling at the momentw hich means that the units I buy will be cheaper. Hopefully the value will go up by the time I need the money and I will be able to pay off my mortgage quickly.

Christmas Overspending

I was just thiking about the presents I have bought for people for Christmas. ihave bought everyting that I need but I was starting to wonder whether I shoudl buy more for a certain person, which would mean buying something else for someone else etc etc. I can see how easy it is for people to overspend at this time of the year! The only thing that stopped me was the car breaking down this morning and having no idea as to how much the repair will cost.

Progress this Month

Well I am really pleased with how things are going. We has a bit of a rush in book sales but that has calmed down now Christmas is getting near. I have still been able to find quite a bit of other work but am a little behind target in my earnings. I didn't know what to expect from December though, earnings wise and this blog having its page rank lowered hasn't helped. I will just have to wait until teh end of the month to see how earnings really have been.

Christmas

I am going to be taking a few days off over Christmas due to family commitments. Tightening my Belt

I use dto always try to 'penny pinch' as I thought that it was the answer to having more money to save. However, since I started earning more money I preferred to work hard so that I could have some luxuries. However, if we want to pay off our mortgage soon we will need to be careful with our spending as well.

Paying off my Mortgage

Last night I sat down with my husband and we did lots of calculations to work out the best way to pay off our mortgage quickly. We have a stocks and shares account that pays good interest (over the last 5 years has paid 18%, 14%, 23%, 18%, 10%). We have calculated that if we invest £585 a month and we get 10% interest we will pay it off in 7 years, if we get 18% interest we will pay it off in 6 years and if we get 23% we will pay it off in 5 years. It will be interesting finding the money to pay it off but as long as I keep earning and we are careful we should be able to do it.

Overspending

I have just been reading an article warning about overspending at Christmas. I feel that I am gettig a lot of pressure put on me by the media and some family members to spend more money than I want to. I am also being asked by some people not to spend very much. It is tricky as it seems unfair to spend more money on some people than others but I think that, I should do as they wish and not spend very much. Then I am worried about what people might think, when they see that we have obviously not bought much. Phew things are complicated enough at this time of year and I am determined not to let money add to my concerns!

December Earnings

Well I had almost expected things to go a bit quiet now as people start to concentrate more on Christmas but my earnings are still doing really well. I am really working hard to get some cash in though as I just spent far too much money buying some treats (in the way of food) for Christmas.

The money is rolling in!

Wow the money seems to be pouring in this month! I sold a waterproof memo board overnight and had an enquiry from someone else which is promising. All of the hard work I put into doing Pay Per Posts is paying off as the payments are coming through. I am also doing some private paid reviews on Our blog review which I am writer for. Currently I am on target for it to be my best month ever, but we will have to wait and see what happens as the holiday approaches.

December Aims

I am not sure what to expect from December. I assume that a lot of companies, like myself, will be hoping for increased sales and they might be pushing their advertising to help this. However, I assume that things will slow down at the end of the month and I will certainly be taking quite a few days off - 23rd, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th although I may do some work in the evening on these days. I made no investments this month and earned a total of £402.78. I have never earned over £400 before so I am thrilled with this. I was hoping to make over £500 but I will work hard this month to do that.
