This months earnings

I have just looked at the months household budget. This is where I calculate everything that was spent and everything that was paid into the current account. I was thrilled to see that I managed to pay in almost half of my husbands salary. It is so exciting that I am getting closer and closer to earning the same and even more than him. I have never earned more than him before so it is a great goal to aim for!

Feeling Positive

Well I am feeling very positive about achieving my mortgage goal at the moment. I looked at my household expenses fo rthe month and we are living well within our means. Deppite having to pay for a car service, a boiler service, shoes for the children and a few other unexpected expenses we still managed to save a lot of money and pay more off the mortgage than we needed to which is fantastic.

Changes at Adbux

Adbux has recently announced that it will be no longer paying its customers using Paypal. This is quite a big blow for a lot of people and I must admit that I considered giving up on the site. However, I have invested money in upgrading my membership and buying referrals so decided to keep going and try to get back as much of my investment as possible. In order to do this I had to open an account with Alertpay. Adbux will now only accept and make payments using them and if you do not have an account you will not be able to be paid. They have changed everyones profile pages now deleting their Paypal details and allowing you to enter the Alertpay ones. Alertpay was incredibly easy to register with and although the charges are higher than Paypal (especially for non US residents) I have come round to thinking that as a lot of companies are not being allowed to use Paypal anymore that perhaps I am going to have to rely on using them more and more.

Website Review : Investing Blog

If you are trying to find ways to invest your money or want to learn about investing then Investing Blog could be of interest to you. There are articles on the topic of hedge funds, stocks, futures, forex and commodities. What I particularly liked was the fact that it was written at a level that I could easily understand! For example an article on Why Google Might be a Buy explained clearly the authors reasoning for thinking this. The article was pretty technical, explaining about the stock and the company performace but despite that it was clearly written. In conclusion, a great site for learning about investments as well as for investors to pick up tips and viewpoints.

What Motivates Me?

I was praised about my motivation yesterday and so I thought it might be interesting to share what motivates me. Yes, I have a goal to pay off my mortgage before 23/12/2014 and I am working hard towards that goal. But why do I have this goal and what is motivating me to stick to it? I thought it was about time I was upfont about this matter. There is a very simple answer to that and you can see it in the pictures below : Toby and Sam!

Website Review : Hotels by City

I am going away this weekend for a party. I used to live in a different town when I first met my husband and one of his friends is having a 30th birthday party. It will go on quite late and so we decided to have a look at cheap hotels to stay in so that we could make a weekend of it. My mother agreed to have the children so we can make the most of having some time together - something which we do not have much of as I work pretty much all of the time unless the children need me. To find a cheap hotel, especially in this town, which is quite near to London, can be quite tricky. If you are in a similar situation and want to find hotels then Hotels by City is a website which could help. It has hotels in cities all over the world and a simple search facility to make it easy for you to find something which suits your needs. They even have flight and car information in case you need it and they have hotel guides. So if you are booking a holiday or a weekend away, take a look and see whether you can find some bargains.

Paying off Debts

I am so happy today. I have paid off my credit card in full (the one I got out to pay for my bathroom). This means that I have no more debts to pay apart from my mortgage. Obviously the mortgage is a pretty big debt (!) but at least I know I only have this one debt to concentrate on paying.

Website Review : ASF Loans Online

If you are looking for small business loans which has no application fee and low rates then AFS Loans Online should have something to help. They are a loan company specialising in small business loans and personal loans. You can find out more detail on the website or telephone one of their customer representatives to discuss it with someone. So if you are looking for small business loans take a look at their website and see what they have to offer.

A Good Week So Far

Well due to all of my hard work on Sunday, trying to attract as many opportunities as possible, I have had a lot of work coming in this week. It is fantastic. I have also been having a brainstorming session with my sister about how to raise some more money. Nothing that is going to pay my mortgage in one go, but I have had quite a few ideas about making small amounts of money. As Tesco says : Every Little Helps!

My Mortgage

You may be aware that I am working on making money with the goal of paying off my mortgage in 5 years time. I have just done some calculations and worked out that I will need to pay at least £1333 a month for the next 5 years, off my mortgage in order to reach my goal. The good news is that this month I have surpassed that! I had £1000 in my savings account which I put against my mortgage. I paid £583 into my shares account (which is something we do each month) which will be cashed in and used towards paying off the mortgage when we are ready. I also paid an extra £250 off the balance of the mortgage due to my earnings being good this month. This means that I have paid off £1833 which is fantastic. Unfortunately I will not be able to find £1000 hanging round in my savings account again but it is a great start towards my goal for the year.

I have just calculated that if I continue to pay £583 into my shares account then I will have to find £750 a month extra. This is a great goal to aim for!

New Challenge

Well my sister asked me whether I was going to try to make an average of £100 a day after trying to on Sunday. Now that would be fantastic amount to make but this month I have averaged £23 from my blog and £31 from my book sales (that is profit). So getting £100 each day would be a pretty big step up. I feel like I am at a stage where I need something big to come along, to really help me to significantly increase my income and I am hunting for it....I have been looking for a few months now and I will keep you posted if I find it.

Website Review : Best Reverse Mortgage

With retirement becoming more expensive and pensions not covering living expenses, a lot of older people are looking to release equity in their homes. This is frowned upon by some people and other people think it is a great idea. To me it seems silly to have all that money tied up in a house but be living a frugal retirement as the funds are not accessible. However, other people would rather have a decent amount of money to be able to pass on to their children when they die. This is obviously an individual decision.

However, if you do decide to release equity in your property, it can be tricky to know ho wto do it. Best Reverse Mortgage is a website which can give you more information about this type of lending. there are detailed articles as well as smaller blog articles which can help you to understand about this type of mortgage. They even have a directory of lenders so that you can find someone in your area that you can discuss things with further.

Website Review : FHA Mortgage Guide

If you are looking to find out more information about FHA then the website : FHA Mortgage Guide should be able to help you. They have detailed articles on this topic as well as blog with shorter articles about things relavant for mortgage buyers such as stagflation, house prices and house values. They even have a directory of FHA lenders, so if after reading all about them you decide you want to use them, you can easily find a lender.

This article on a blog by Arun the Ace explains how to do it and also explains how you can make money by providing the service for other people. I am going to give it a try!

My Challenge for Today

Well my husband has taken the boys out swimming so I will have quite a chunk of the day to myself. I have challenged myself to make as much money as possible. Now my goal setting experience should ave told me that I should be more specific than that and it explains why I have only made £3.17 so far. I therefore have decided that I will make an effort to make £100 by the end of the day. Wow, now there is a proper challenge!

Amazing!!

Well right after I wrote my article on goal setting I took a look at the Pay Per Post website with the intention to find out whether I was due any payments today from them (as they pay out 30 days after you publish an article). The site opened, as normal, on the page which have available opportunities. The top one was for $35, I wrote the article and submitted it immediately - this is the most money that I have ever earned for a blog article. As the author of Mindstore says .... it only works!

Goal Setting

I find it really interesting that when I am concentrating hard on my financial goals and remembering what my motivation is for earning, that money and opportunities seem to head my way. I learnt my goal setting techniques from a fantastic book and if you are finding that you need help with focus then I would highly recommend it. The book is called Mindstore by jack Black. the original book is available very cheaply second hand on Amazon, there is also a new publication and some CD's and other information available - I have listed them below :

Commission Junction Payment

Commission Junction pays you commission on sales that you have generated leads for. This is for sites such as eBay, where you display a banner on your website for them and then if someone clicks through that banner and purchases something from the site then you get some commission from it. Once you have earned £16 you get paid straight into your bank account. This has turned out to be quite a slow earner for me but I have reached the minimum and recieved payment of just over £23 this month, just for displaying banners such as the one below. It was very easy money!
Click here to buy & sell on eBay!

Stock market

Well the UK FTSE has well and truly sunk! My shares bear evidence of this. 2 months ago I held £12,000 worth of shares in an UK index tracker ISA I have invested a further £1100 but the holding is now worth just £10,000. Am I in a panic? Well not really. I know that the number of share units that I get for my monthly investment (of about £583) is much higher if the price is lower. As long as I am prepared to hold onto my shares for a long time then they are bound to increase in value and in fact the more I buy now when the prices are low, the better off I will be in the future. My shares are going to be used to pay off some of my mortgage. I am hoping to pay this off really quickly so obviously if the market had risen by 17% this year, rather than fallen I woudl have been closer to my goal. However, realistically it will probably take me about 5 years or more to pay off the mortgage so this small blip should in fact be positive for us as long as we can sell the shares when the market peaks.

Website Review : Monex Deposit Company

Monex Deposit Company buy and sell a variety of precious metals including silver and gold bullion. They have been trading for over 30 years. They offer silver in coin or ingot form for purchasing as an investment. Silver is a good investment at the moment as demand has been exceeding production for years. Gold is also available in coin or ingot form. It has been seen as a good investment for a very long time and is seen as a means of protecting wealth, diversify investments and preserve one's purchasing power. Silver bars are also seen as a good investment as the US giverbment is now buying them, having sold their stock.

Busy Weekend

It has been a busy weekend, shopping and visiting relatives so I haven't had much of a chance to do any work. I have received a payment from Money 4 Banners for an affiliate signing up - which was £10. This was a great bonus payment and is all helping me. I transferred £250 off my mortgage today which is fantastic. I have £2000 in savings that I can get to easily in case of emergencies and so I am now in a position to start paying off the mortgage. It feels fantastic!

How Have I Done it?

You might be wondering how I have managed to earn my £500. It is, of course a combination of things. The main amount is from earnings from sponsored posts which I am spreading across 5 blogs. Pay Per Post payments have been the highest and reviews that I am doing for individuals through digital point forums have made up most of the rest. The payouts from Bux.to have really helped as well. A nice chunk of interest form my money in Jem Investments has also been great. At the beginning of next month i will produce a more detailed account as usual.

Past the £500 mark!

I know I have already mentioned this in another post but I am so excited I need to mention it again! I have reached over £500 in my earnings form this blog so far this month. I am so pleased that my hard work is really paying off and I am beginning to prove to myself and others that you can make a decent income online starting off with no investment.

£42 payment!

I am delighted to announce that I have received my first payment from Matched.co.uk. I received £42 which was a combination of bonuses from referring affiliates and earnings from the advertisements on my websites. I am delighted as this has taken me over £500 earnings wise, this month. This is the first time I have ever earned over £500 and we are only just over half way through the month.

Win $50

There is a great competition at the moment on Melbels Post a Day. You can win $50 by promoting her great blog. I like the blog as it has tips for earning online, has a great layout and is interesting. All you have to do to enter is to write a blogpost about the contest, stumble the competition blogpost, make a comment or promote it in your favourite forum. You can enter multiple times. So if you fancy winning some extra money then take a look at Melbels Post a Day and see how to enter.

Paid Reviews

Unfortunately Google is clamping down hard on sites which have paid reviews in their content. I have had several of my blogs lowered to a page rank of zero because I have Pay Per Post reviews on the site. I have been advised to remove as much eveidenc as I can that the sites have paid reviews on them and since doing that, Google has updated page ranks and it hasn't seemed to have made a difference. I have also been advised to write more articles with no links in. I have one blog where I write about 50% of articles with no links and its page rank went down from 2 to 0 very recently. I would assume that the best way to get your ranking back is to have no sponsored posts and keep all posts relevant.

Wordlinx

Wordlinx is turnong out to a nice little earner. I have ben a member for over a year and when I first joined there were not many opportunities to earn. You earn by clicking ads and there seemed to be about half a dozen a week all uploaded on one day. However, over the last few weeks there have been about a dozen adverts a day and they have also started sending out a few paid emails (an option you can deselect if wish not to get them). I have been paid by them once and am now halfway tomay next payment (of $10). It is a site well worth joining.

Matched.co.uk payment

I had an email yetsreday saying that I woudl be getting a payment soon from Mached.co.uk. The amount is going to be £42 which is fantastic. This includes a £5 signup bones, £5 x 2 for my two affiliates and £3 x 9 for the adverts that I am displaying. I am really pleased that just for displaying a few adverts and doing nothing else I can earn so much!

Website Review : Pens R Us

In the past I have considered using advertising pens to promote my business. It is a good way to get your brand name recognised and something that is cheap and lightweight so easy to give away. If this is something that you are considering doing then you might like to take a look at the Pens R Us website as they have a huge range.

Flooding

I visited my parents today - the boys and I took the bus. It has been raining all day and there has been lots of flooding and blizzards in the area which means that my husband had a job getting home from work and did not want to risk picking us up. We are therefore staying at my Mums tonight but fortunately I can still get some work done here.

Buying referrals

I am finding Bux.to and Bux3.com are earning me a lot of money at the momenta nd am considering buying some referrals. I am finding it tricky deciding whether to buy referrals form the websites - there are people who have signed up to the website without an affiliate or whether to buy them from a website Buyrefs that sells referrals. Or perhaps I should do both and find out which are the best earners for me. It would mean buying them at different times and keeping a note of which referrals were purchased from which company, but it is probably a piece of research well worth doing.

Website Review: Fifty Flowers

Fifty Flowers is a site for buying wedding flowers. For a wedding it is important to do things perfectly but not too expensively so this wholesale florist is a great way to save money but still get quality items. The bride can choose the main flowers and they will put together arrangements and ship a range of items such a bouquets, coursages, button holes and table centerpieces all in one package. They have a whole range of flowers such as wholesale calla lilies, roses, gerbera daisies, peonies, hydrangeas and many more. They also have table arrangements and centerpieces suitabl for other occasions. The flowers are shipped more directly than they would be through a wholesaler so they arrive fresher. The price includes shipping and large or small orders can be made.

Linkgrand

Linkgrand is another pay to click site that I belong to. This one has a minimum withdrawal amount of just $5 which is lower than quite a few of the more popular sites, which tend to be $10. It is different to the others as the ads do not display in a pop-up but in the main window. This is better for advertisers as the timer only counts down when you are viewing that page meaning that they actually get people looking at their advertisements.

Great survey site

If,like me, you like doing surveys, then you will like Pure Profile. What I particularly like about the site is that if you take a survey and do not qualify for it you still get paid a minimum amount, which means you have not wasted your time on the filter questions. You also get paid £1 for every £5 your referrals earn (Up to £5 in total), so it is worth joining and then getting your friends to join up too.

Website Review : Credit Card Search Engine

If you are looking for a credit card and specifically Credit Cards For People With Bad Credit then Credit Card Search Engine should be able to help you. They are one of the longest running Credit card comparison websites and has all types of cards including ones for low income earners, students and businesses. They have low interest credit cards, cashback cards and cards for people with different credit levels. They have all the US leading brand of credit card including Chase, American Express, Discovery, Bank of America and Citibank. so if you are looking for a new credit card then take a look at their website and see what they have to offer.

Global Cash Clicks

I seem to be getting carried away with Pay to Click sites this month. Global Cash Clicks is a site which I have been a member of for a long time. They currently have a competition with 10 prizes for the top ten clickers of links in the month of January. As it is still early in the month I am sure that there is still chance to get a prize.

Bux3.com

Having been using Bux3.com for a few days now, I am happy to report that although it is in Beta, it seem sto be running smoothly. I have had a referrals sign up under my affiliate link, which is fantastic and so I am earning three times more quickly than I woudl be otherwise. There seems to be about 11 ads a day to click at the moment and at 1 cent each that eans I should make the $10 minimum payout amount in a month if my referrals continue to be active. I could of course make it more quickly if I purchased some referrals or upgraded my membership, but at the moment I cannot afford to invest the money.

Website Review : Allegro Medical

Another Bux.to payment!

If you read my last post you will know that I got paid by Bux.to this morning. In the 28 days I was waiting for my payment I had accumulated a further $33 and so I immediately requested payment of this sum. I was surprised and over the moon when I came back from shopping this afternoon to find that the payment had arrived in my Paypal account. Thank you Bux.to!

Bux.to Payment

There seem to be a lot of Bux.to members not satisfied with the speed of payment. they have recently changed their terms and conditions to state that payments will take up to 30 working days with premium mmbers taking priority. I am a premium member and can report that I received my payment after 26 working days, which is great.

Website Review : Tuition Wise

Tuition Wise is a company which offer student loans. They will send a cheque directly to the student and no repayments need to be made while studying. Up to $40,000 a year can be borrowed and you can get preliminary approval in just 15 minutes. Fuel Prices

It seems that domestic fuel prices are all set to rise in the UK with one energy company increasing their prices for gas and electricity by 12% and 17%. It is predicte dthat all fuel companies will follow suit. I think most people already know how to save money on fuel; by using energy saving lightbulbs, having showers instead of baths, turning the thermostat down by a degree, not keeping electrical equipment on standby, increasing insulation in the house etc. There are some tips on saving money on heating here. Personally I feel I have done everything I can to cut my bills and so I am working hard on earning more money to pay them rather than saving money - although doing both is best.

So if you are looking for a search engine which can give you tips on a variety of subjects, or you could benefit from advertising on such a website then take a look and see how they can help you.

Bux3.com - new pay to click

Bux3.com is a brand new pay to click website. It looks almost identical to Bux.to and obviously has the same code behind it. In fact everything about it seems to be the same even some of the adverts to click are the same. However, I have joined up as I like this type of website and there is always some risk with joining this sort of thing.

They pay one cent per click, and the same for clicks by your referrals. They have a premium membership which costs $59 per year and you can buy referrals - they range from packages of 5 at a cost of $6.95, to 500 at a cost of $429. Their advertising seems cheap as well - it is just $1.99 for 100 clicks.

It is usually worth getting on board with these new sites early so I would recommend joining up quickly and seeing how things work out.

How Things Have Changed

Looking back at my earnings over the last year has got me thinking about how things have changed. I used to use my laptop all of the time in the evenings and when the children were babies and were asleep. But I used it for chatting on forums and playing games when I wasn't working on my book sales. Now I hardly ever play games and spend every bit of time trying to earn extra money. It sounds greedy but I feel that my free time is much better spent earning than playing and it means that I can still contribute to the household income and look after the children. Despite spending less time on the book selling I am making a better profit than I was before - I feel that because I am focussing hard on making money for my million project it seems to be rubbing off on all aspects of my life.

Selling Link Spots

I am currently offering Link spots on this blog in the sidebar (as well as my others : Bowbridge Blog, Podee blog and Topsy and Tim blog). As it is sale season I thought I would offer a discounted price if advertisers take a years worth of advertising - just $10 by Paypal. If anyone is interested please let me know.

My Review of the Year

Well it really has been a fantastic year for my turn one pound into one million business. I have been increasing my income rapidly and having great fun at the same time. I thought you might be interested in seeing how my earnings have grown since I started in February.

February - £11.99
March - £165.78
April - £74.92
May - £66.35
June - £377.41
July - £375.59
August - £300.56
September - £249.32
October - £371.43
November - £402.96
December - £489.24

It is not quite on John Chow's earning scale - he earned $180,000 in 2007 just from his blog. However, I feel very positive about the upwardly direction that my earnings are taking and his earnings just make me feel determined to get my share of the blog pie!

Wordlinx

Wordlinx is a pay per click site paying 1 cent per click. It does tend to have a varying amount of available advertisements sometimes having none for a few days and then sometimes having 15. The last few days has been very busy with lots of advertisements to click. If you are already a member I woudl suggest you take a look and see what opportunities there are for making some money. If not, I woudl suggest joining up. It is free to join and I have reached the minimum payout of $10 on one occasion and received payment fairly promptly.
