I was chatting to my Dad yesterday about annuities. He has one which is giving him a retirement income and he seems pretty happy with it. I think that he was pretty worried about things when the stock market was doing so badly but now that things are picking up he is much more relaxed and getting a better return on his investment. I hope that it continues to do well for him as I know that he gets stressed about money ad he does not have very much in the way of savings so if there is an emergency then he may struggle otherwise.
