Keeping Things Simple
I am so glad that my company is very simple. It used to be complicated when I paid various people to do things for me and sold work on other peoples behalves. It was difficult when I needed to think about whether I should invest in a credit card reader and barcode scanner and when I had an expensive printer which used really expensive ink. I am so glad that now I just do freelance writing, there are no big costs and nothing to worry about except getting on with the writing work. Keeping things simple has made it easier for me to make a profit and although I have done better in previous years, I think that is a reflection of the economic situation rather than of my business.
