ISA Allowance

I do keep thinking about investing in an ISA. It is not long until this years allowance is up. However, I am happy with my money in premium bonds at the moment. I feel that it is safe for one thing but also I can get the money quickly. I am getting a good return on the money with a lot of wins as well which is really good. I have calculated my interest rate and it is more than I can get on an instant access ISA even if it is a stocks and shares one. I will keep an eye on what is going on with regards to wins and interest rates.

The main advantage of ISAs is that all interest/returns are tax-free.

Could you invest in bonds, but in an ISA wrapper? That would give you the advantages of bonds combined with the advantage of the interest being tax-free...

Premium Bonds are tax free, which is why it is such a tricky decision ;o)
