Mortage Rates

I felt so thankful again when I read that the HSBC has removed its 2.99% mortgage rate, which is a record low rate because so many people have taken it up and they have fulfilled their quota. That rate might look good to some but I am paying just 0.99% which is fantastic. I am so glad that I did some research in to mortgage rates and picked wisely. I know that as it is a tracker it will go up when the base rate changes but I am hoping to take advantage of it for a long as possible. The base rate will have to go up by 2% for it to match this cheap rate and most are higher than that so I am confident that I will be doing well for a long time yet.
