We have all heard the saying that there is no such thing as a free lunch, but there are many companies giving away free samples and these can be worth trying to get hold of.
There are a selection of websites which list where free samples can be claimed from. You can end up getting anything from cat food to teabags. It is good for the company, because they hope that you will like the product and want to buy it (which has happened to me on trying a lime and ginger teabag from Twinings). It is also a good way for you to try something new without having to waste money on a large amount of an item. I have also done this by trying a caff free Millicano sample which was not at all nice, but then I do not like instant coffee and have to be in the right mood even for a good quality latte.
Another way to save on items is to look for vouchers and coupons. Sometimes these are available to print off online or you cut them out of magazines. It is important to make sure that you only buy things that you normally would. As using a discount voucher for an expensive product may cost you more than buying what you normally would.
