New Money Making Ideas

The family have decided that they would like to build a garden room. While I like the idea of us being able to relax together in a space away from television and computers, it is a rather expensive project which I have estimated will cost us upwards of £10,000. This is money that I do have saved up to pay off the mortgage but am not keen on spending really. I am very aware that interest rates are likely to rise soon and so the more money I can pay off the mortgage the better. I am also thinking about retirement and the fact that I do not yet have a decent pension unless you count £50 a year from an old work scheme and whatever I might get from the government.

I have therefore been thinking of new ways to make some money. I initially wondered whether gambling or lottery could be a good way, but then I saw sense! I therefore went onto Quidco to see whether there were any free ways to make money and I found one. There is a website where you get credits for using a search engine and when you have made 25 searched in a week (but no more than 10 a day get credited) you get a free lottery ticket as part of a syndicate. I am not sure whether it sounds a bit too good to be true but nevertheless I signed up to Search Lotto to see whether I might be lucky.
